Christmas Again

This week I went to Pennsylvania.  I stayed at Carly and Ella's house.  I went to Dada's house for Christmas.  I got some really cool gifts.  I got a football, a mustache shirt, some jeans, and a Kindle Fire case.  I loved them all.  Today Carly, Ella, and I are having a New Year's Eve party.  I hope it is great!

Testing 1.2.3 Testing

This week my class and I took the benchmark tests.  The tests were the most boring thing I did all week.  There was only one benefit to the tests... I got better grades.

Also one day this week we had flapjacks with whipped cream, sprinkles, and of course, syrup.  The flapjacks tasted great!  While we were eating we watched "How the Grinch Stole Christmas".  That was probably the 1000th time I watched it.  I had a fun and boring week.

Gee I wonder who will be champion?

Yesterday my family and I went to a football party. We watched the SEC championship game. The game was LSU and GA. LSU won 35 to 10. In the first half GA was doing good or LSU was doing nothing. Then in the second half LSU just stomped them! It was a good game no matter who won. I had a great time at the party.

The Package Comes!

This week I got a Kindle Fire. I saved up a lot of money to buy this. It cost me $199. I can watch movies, play games, and do a lot more. There is one problem... to do a lot of things you have to have some money and I'm broke now. So I'll ask for a lot of Amazon gift cards for Christmas.

Today I went to see Puss 'N Boots. I recommend this movie because it's very easy to laugh at. I will not talk about his anymore because I'm going to start spoiling the movie.

Julio the Great!!!

Yesterday, we did some yard work. Dad and I did some in our yard and some in Mr Bryan's garden by Pirkle Park. We got a truck full of compost. We put compost in our yard. I spread compost in Mr. Bryan's garden. After that, Dad tilled and mixed the compost and the dirt (which was very good dirt). Then we went to Mr. Bryan's house. He gave me the "ultimate" Pokemon collectors item - Pokemon puzzle gum.

Later that night, we had hot wings and watched the LSU (which stands for Loser State University) vs. Bama game. I had a fun Saturday.

By the way, Julio Jones just got 130yds receiving in two plays (and he played for Bama).

Working on Saturday

Yesterday I went to a BBQ contest.  In the morning Miss Cindy and I made hot chocolate with peppermint in the drink for the road.  Next, we stopped at Quick Trip to get breakfast. I got a chili dog for breakfast which is very odd. Since Dad forgot or was short on paper plates we went to
Walmart and got plates.  While we were there we got some pumpkin spice marshmellows and some glazed doughnuts.  Miss Cindy and I had a debate on doughnuts and doughnut holes.  Then I had an idea of buying both, then put the doughnut holes in the doughnuts.  Of course, that didn't work so we just bought doughnuts..  Finally, we were on the road!

I'd say it took a good 30 minutes to get to the BBQ contest.  I worked all day with Crawford and sold 85 cokes for 50 cents each.  We made $42.50.  While we were there we road the big slide.  It was super steep.  Crawford and I rode down the slide together.  At the end of the day since Aunt Heidi cooked good wings we won second place in wings!  Then we packed up and went home.

The Beach

Last week I went to Fort Walton Beach.  My little cousin Jackson, his parents, my mom, and Mimi and Popop went too.  We went to the beach but one day we couldn't because jellyfish were in the ocean.  Good thing there was a pool.  The pool had a pirate ship that you could slide down on your belly.  We ate good food while we were at the beach.  I had fried fish to eat.  That was my trip to the beach.

Yesterday (Saturday) we had a fall party.  A lot of my cousins came over to my house.  We played with my Nerf guns.  We shot each other with the guns.  It hurt a little when someone shot you in the face.  I had a fun past two weeks.

My School Week

This week at school we learned about weather.  We learned about the gases and the layers of the Earth.  Did you know that the air is seventy eight percent nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1 percent other gases?  Also did you know that we live in the troposphere layer of the Earth?  We also learned about clouds, air pressure, and more really cool weather things. 

In Social Studies we learned about Columbus and how he was a huge bully.  He was trying to get to Asia, but ended up in the Carribean Sea, enslaved the Indians, then made them find gold.  If they didn't find any gold he would kill them. 

In math we learned about order of operations.  To do this first you have to do the parentheses.  After you do that you do the exponents.    Then, you do multiplication and division.  Finally, you do adding and subtracting.  That's how you do order of operations.

In grammar, we are finishing up on possessive nouns.  Sometimes it can really mess with your head but isn't that why we learn?


This weekend Crawford came over to my house.  Crawford brought a cool game.  The game was R2D2 Trouble.  It made a lot of noises.  The funniest sound was when R2D2 screamed.  We went to Jaemor Farm and got some apples.  I have no idea what Dad and Miss Cindy are going to do with all those apples but I know they're going to do something.  I have one question...

Clean and Clean and always Respect the 'Stache!

Today (Saturday) we cleaned Ms Cindy's old apartment. It was a truck load of work and very tiring. I cleaned the baseboards everywhere and vacuumed the living room and dining room. It was not very exciting or fun but it did give us something to do and I made money.

This week I grew a mustache! I could make it change color and shape. I had a different 'stache each day of the week. Thank you for the "moustacher" David and Kathy! ;-)

Rico's World Kitchen

This Friday, I went to Rico's World Kitchen for dinner. I think Rico's is one of my top five favorite restaurants. They have out of this world homemade chips and chicken tenders. What I like most is their pork rinds because they pop in your mouth like Rice Crispies. You dip them in vinegar when you eat them. I also tasted a new food called lumpia. It tasted like a (carribean) beef patty. Everything there tastes so good.

Also, Rico's has a life size Yoda. But it's not so big because Yoda isn't that big (unless you are watching Star Wars on a 92" television).

I highly recommend that you go to Rico's World Kitchen.

The First Week of School

This week was the first week of school. I was pretty excited. We had to take two Benchmark tests per day. So we got those out of the way! The new school playground is finally finished. They have been working on it for three years. It has new playsets and slides. I got to play on it this week - it was very fun! My I like my new teacher her name is Mrs. Shaw. Fourth grade is going to be fun and exciting!

What did you do that was fun this week?

A Fun Week

This week Danny and Aunt Nancy came over to my house. We went to see Zookeeper. I recommend seeing the movie while it is still in theaters. It's very good. We also swam in Kali's neighborhood pool. The next day we went to the water park. Danny and I rode almost every slide. It was so much fun. Another day we went to the YMCA pool in Alpharetta, GA. Danny and I rode the water slide and dove off the diving board. On Thursday we went to the Atlanta Braves game. They lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates. But we got Chipper Jones Bobble-heads! On Friday Aunt Nancy, Danny, and I went to CNN and The World of Coke. We were the first in line for everything that day. I was the weather man at CNN. I stood in front of a green screen with a green blanket which made me look invisible -like Harry Potter when he wears his cloak!

Fun Fact:
Did you know the reason they use green AND blue screens is because not everyone's skin is the same color so using different colors works better.

On Saturday we went to the boat. We didn't get to go tubing which was a bummer. We went to see Captain America which I also recommend. I had a great week.

Pencilvaina

This week I went up to Pencilvaina. The drive up was boring but the week was fun. We swam every day. We swam at my aunt's pool. We had my birthday party, we did fireworks, and sparklers. We had PaPaw's party the day after. Both were fun. We played Minute to Win it games. We baked pies at Grandma Miller's. That's about it!

Back in Time

This week I went to Civil War Camp. On the first day you got picked on a team. I got on the Union which was the North and Confederate is the South. We also had a speaker come in. He told us facts about the Civil War. He taught us how to fire a musket and he told us how a musket is better for hunting. We also battled. The next day of War we had another speaker come in. She told us about how diseases were the thing that killed the most people. The diseases that killed people were small pox, chicken pox, yellow fever, diarrhea and constipation. The Civil War is where plastic surgery was invented. The next two days were the same except there was no speakers. On Friday we made homemade ice cream. We watched a movie and battled. It was a fun camp.

The Cay-Blog II

These past two days were fun. On Thursday, we went on a private boat to Stingray City. A stingray gave me a massage. Her name was Josephina. I also kissed her.




We also went to a few places to snorkel. In one place, we saw a lot of starfish.


On Friday, we went to the pool. At the pool, Ella and I jumped in the pool. We did cannon balls and stuff.

We also went snorkeling. We saw a wild stingray. We also saw some weird fish that spread their wings when we went near them.



So that was Friday.

Today, I'm here on the plane getting ready to take off. It's very sad!

The Cay-Blog

This week I'm in the Cayman Islands. I got here on Saturday. We went snorkeling in the sea. We saw fish. We also snorkeled Sunday, too. Monday we went downtown. We bought some things and hung out. On Tuesday, we swam with dolphins. We got to ride them and kiss them. I surely won't forget that. On Wednesday, I went to the turtle farm. We saw sharks get fed. I also got to hold a big turtle and see a crocodile. Well, that's what I did so far...

My Summer Begins

This week I went to Aunt Heather's house. I had a lot of fun. We went to see Thor the movie. It had action in it. We also played putt-putt at Camp Aunt Heather. After putt-putt I had ice cream. I got an Oreo shake. It was yummy.

After Camp Aunt Heather's I went to BePaw's house. I played on the Slip and Slide with Aida. It was so cold after the Slip and Slide that we went in the hot tub! Then on Friday I came back to Daddy and Miss Cindy's.

Today I went to a karate tournament. I came in third place for Combat Weapons and for sparing. I had a great week!

Pilot Egg

This week in school we've been making contraptions for an egg. It's called the 'egg"strinaut contest. We build a contraption and then put the egg inside it. Lastly you drop it from 12 feet and hope the egg doesn't break. Mine didn't break.

Today (last Saturday) I'm going to a summer bash at karate. There's going to be a bounce house, minute to win it games, and more. On Sunday I don't know what I'm going to do.

Mother's Day

This week in school we made Mother's Day poems. I had to make two. I did it. Hip Hip Hooray! On Saturday we saw Rio. This is the second time I saw it. It is a funny movie. I liked it. On Sunday I made Miss Cindy peanut butter cup pancakes for Mother's Day. I am going to eat Italian for dinner.

Bunnies and Chicks

In school this week we're hatching fertilized chicken eggs which means that the eggs will hatch. We are not going to sit on them. We are going to put them into an incubator to keep them warm.

We also had a Koosie contest at school. I didn't win. You had to make a homemade Koosie to keep your Coke cold.

This weekend we're dying eggs. Happy Easter.

Spring Break

I am on Spring Break this week. I'm super excited!

Yesterday, I had my friend, Colton, come over. We played outside. Then he helped me build the space needle in Seattle, Washington. Only it was a two foot model made of KNex - not the real thing.



Today, I'm going to see Hop with Ms Cindy. It's about Easter Bunnies. I'm going to love it.

Tomorrow, I'm meeting up with Gramps and Grandma Susan for hot wings. I'm going to spend the night with them. On Thursday, I'm going to the gun store with Gramps.

Nana is going to pick me up in the afternoon. I'm going to spend Thursday night at Nana's house. We're probably going to go for a hike on the trail at Unicoi.

On Friday, I'm going to a Mexican restaurant for dinner with Nana, Papa Ray, Dad and Ms Cindy. Dad and Ms Cindy will take me home from there.

On Saturday, we'll probably just hang around the house. I'll play outside some.

On Sunday, if the weather is nice, we're going to go shooting at Gramps' house. I'm going to shoot the .410 shotgun at clay pigeons. I'm going to have a great week.

A Very, Very, Very Dark Belt

I took my test for black belt in taekwando last week. I passed! I came in second place of all people in my run! I ran so hard I barfed in it. I also broke my board. Now I started going for my second degree black belt.

This week I have been learning about the metric system in measurement. Everything in the metric system is based on units of ten. I will let you see a chart at the end of the blog.

On Friday, we went to Flip Burger. I got a turtle milk shake. I also got a burger with bacon, cheese and ketchup. I went with Gramps and Grandma Susan. I loved it.

Today, I'm having a movie day. We're going to watch movies since it is raining and there's nothing else to do. I'm going to love it.

The week before a lot of green!

This week in school I have been learning about idioms- an idiom is a figure of speech. I got 100% on the test. On Friday at school we traced someone and we put idioms that have to deal with body parts on the traced body.
This weekend we have guests over. It is going to be a whole lot of fun. On Sunday I really don't know what we are doing. Remember to wear green on Thursday for St. Patrick's Day.

My Week

This week I went to school on Monday because I had a makeup day. I really liked the snow day but I have to make it up now which I don't like at all.

We studied magnets this week. We did a bunch of experiments but some of them didn't work. The compass bar magnet experiment didn't work because there was too much metal around. The car repelling experiment didn't work because the magnets kept falling off. Even though the experiments failed I still had a lot of fun learning about magnets.

Today I'm going to see Gnomeo and Juliet, I sure hope it will be funny! On Sunday I am just chillin!

Blasting!!!

This weekend, I am going target shooting. I am going with my Dad. We are going to shoot at my Bepaw's house. This is the first time that I have been shooting with my Dad. I have been shooting before but not with my Dad. I got to shoot at Camp Strong Rock and at YMCA camp. I have shot with a BB Gun and a .22 bolt rifle.

Tonight, I am spending the night with Mimi and Popop. My little cousin, Jackson, is coming, too. It is the first time that he is coming over to spend the night with my grandparents. I think that this will be very exciting. I hope you have a great weekend, too.

Fossils

This week at school, we learned about fossils. There are many kinds of fossils. One of the most common fossils found is called a trilobite. Here is what it looked like:


It lived in every part of the oceans.

To make a fossil the conditions have to be just right. The skin, muscles and organs all rot away. The bones are covered in mud or sand. It turns into sedimentary rock.

P.S. Nobody knows why the dinosaurs died out.

The Holidays

This Christmas I did a lot of stuff. I went to New York City. We went to Toys R Us and rode a Ferris Wheel. I also went to the Empire State Building. It was very cold on the top. I went to Pennsylvania. I went to Dads and Papaw's house. I got lots of presents. I had a great Christmas.


The snow in GA was awesome! I missed 4 days of school and I hope it will be 5. Then I have Martin Luther King day on Monday next week. I love no school!

What did you do that was fun from the holidays until now?
