Guppy

This week I didn't have much fun. I went to a play but it was The Little Mermaid.  You can say that I don't really like plays about Little lermaids.  You're right!  I don't! 

Don't get high hopes though because I'm going to tell you about it anyway. 
If you're going to ask me what was your favorite part of the play, I would say probably the part where all the actors and actresses were bowing  because this meant in 15 minutes I would be sleeping in my bed.  I was very tired that day.

Now don't get me wrong, I thought it was the best singing, dancing and acting that the CYT program has every done!  CYT is a program that does plays every 6 months and we go see them.  The factor of me not liking it was the story part of the play.  I don't like the Little Mermaid.  I'll end off here.

Up, Up, and Away!

I had a lot of fun at Space Camp.  I went on a lot of simulators.  My favorite was the Space Shot.  It is one of those rides that you go up and down.  You go 100 feet into the air!  They also had a G4 simulator.  It spins you around super fast and you feel four times heavier.  They had an IMAX movie, a rock climbing wall, and a Mars Rover simulator.  The IMAX movie was about the Hubble Space telescope and its history.  The rock climbing wall was very hard and the rover simulator was super cool.  I had lots of fun with my Cub Scout Pack.

I also got my 2nd degree black belt recommended.  It was hard but I got it. It took four tries to break my board.  You are only supposed to get three tries but one of them didn't count so I passed.  I had a lot of fun.

Barbeque

Have you ever had only five hours of sleep?  Well, I have and it happened when I went to a barbeque contest with my dad.  I got checked out by my dad at 1:00 from school.  We were running really behind said my dad as we were going home.  We packed up very fast and we left at 3:30.

We had to stop by Mr. Bryan's house to pick up cots. As we were going there, our hot ash can's lid flew off in the middle of the road.  We picked up the cots and we came back to the road to get the lid.  Thankfully it wasn't busted too much.  We got to the contest at 5:00.

As my dad was preparing meat, Aida, my cousin, and I were running around and picking up things to help Aunt Heather.  The day flew by and Aunt Heather let me sleep on the floor in her hotel room.  It was much better than sleeping on a cot and getting wind burnt in the freezing weather.

On Saturday, Aida and I were groing around picking up things once again.  Also I jumped in a bounce house 'til the awards ceremony.  My dad didn't do any better than last contest.  The whole point coming here was to do better.  I had lots of fun though.  What did you do that was very fun or exciting this week?

Dirt

This week was kind of boring without Miss Cindy. Her Great Aunt Mabel passed away. All that Dad and I did was a yard work. We made two flower beds along a walking path. When Dad wasn't watching while I was using the mattock (a combination axe and hoe), I bent the hoe side so that it was pointing to the ground. (Dad here: The clay was very hard.) We also stripped the garden down to the dirt. Dad and I pulled up old tomato plants, peeper plant and pulled weeds.The hoes that Dad got for Fathers Day last year were very helpful. Finally, we spread some really good dirt in the garden. While we were pulling weeds in the garden, we found a super chubby worm. I had a really boring week while Ms Cindy was gone. Did you do anything that was fun or exciting this week?

CLOWN!

On this fantastic week of February, I did more fun activities than usual. I also had a day off school this week but I didn't do anything that good to talk about. My teacher turned 50 and we all wore black that day. That was a sort of exciting thing that I did at school this week, but now let's get into the good, juicy things I did.

First of all, I went to the Blue and Gold banquet for Cub Scouts.There was a cupcake contest for chocolatiest, gooiest and the best themed. The theme was the Great Outdoors. I didn't win but I think mine was the chocolatiest cupcake of them all. They also gave out awards to people who helped the Pack. There was also some yummy food. The meat pasta was out of this world!

In addition to the banquet, I went to the circus! My favorite act was the tigers and lions cage act. Sometimes the tigers wouldn't listen and they would just lay down. I thought that was very funny. Also, I liked the shaolin warrior act.One guy jumped through a hoop of really sharp swords. Then he took it up about 15 steps. The same hoop was smaller, on fire and spinning and the warrior still made it through.Did I mention that he was blindfolded? Sadly, someone got hurt during the motorcycles in a globe of steel act. When they tried to start up, someone got hit and it was motorcycle dominoes from there. There were 8 motorcycles in one cage, so it was really hard.

Guns and Glorious Doughnuts

The sun peaked through my window as if telling me to wake up on a chilly Saturday morning.  I bounced right out of bed to get started on my chores.  I did them as quikcly as I could so we could go eat doughnuts, the scrumptious ones, and go shoot guns at BePaw's house.

We got the news that BePaw was sick and I was very angry and disappointed.  But then Dad said we could go shoot at the indoor range called Dead Center.  When he said that it made me want to leap up and smash my head through the roof!

We went off to go eat glorious doughnuts at a place called Sara Doughnuts and this was my first time eating there.  I got a powered cream filled doughnut and a super rich devil's food.  A devil's food is a rich double chocolate doughnut.  When I bit into the creamy doughnut the cream inside exploded into my jaws as if it was a bomb of goodness going off in my mouth.  It was crazy good. After eating the doughnuts, I needed a nap!

My dad and I got into the black worn truck and headed off to the gun range. When we got there we brought our guns inside the range. My dad rented a semi automatic 22 rifle.  We also took along with us a revolver and my 22. At the gun range you can use a machine to put your target where ever you want.  On one round with the semi automatic I almost got a dead center along with five more bulls eyes out of ten.

After that we went to go get a brisket but we did everything but that. We got hot Cheetos at Quality Foods, went to Publix and almost got nothing and finally we saw a sign that said $7.99 hair cuts at Great Clips, so my dad got a hair cut.

My week was really exciting and I hope yours was too.

Celebrate Losing with Italian Food

This lovely week of January 5th - 13th has been a wonderful week to semi start my year.  There was some dreadful days such as Monday but that's always terrible beause you are coming back from your excellet weekend.  I hope your week was just as good as mine because mine was excellent and wonderful. 

To kick off the week on Saturday, January 5th, the playoffs for Wildcard truely began to a very great and most wonderful start, well at least for the NFC side.  After a dreadful loss for the Green Bay Packers against the Minnesota Vikings (which cost them a bye).    In the playoffs however, they won against the Vikings which is good because if the Vikings won the Falcons would have to deal with Peterson (RB for the Vikings).  Then yesterday the Packers lost which is great.   So now if we win against the Seahawks we play the 49ers.

To go along with the 49ers victory, Dad, Miss Cindy, and I went to Glenn's house for take out lasagna.  That's crazy!  When I put that first bite into my mouth the tomato sauce oozed into my cheeks, the cheese remelted in my mouth and the juice of the meat was going everywhere on my tastebuds.  It was amazing.  That made my day.

Now, hopefully the Falcons win!
