This week in class we have been learning about rocks and minerals. We learaned about the three types of rocks: sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. Sedimentary rock is a rock made by junk under the ocean that is compacted into a rock. Igneous rock is a rock that is made by cooled lava. Metaporphic rocks are rocks that were another rock but has changed by heat and pressure under the earth.
I am doing well in karate too!

Next time you come to visit we will go for a walk and see if we can find some of the rocks you learned about in class this week. It will need to be much warmer than it's been over the last few days. It's been very, very cold here - down around 12 degrees. Glad to hear that you're doing well in karate.
