I took my test for black belt in taekwando last week. I passed! I came in second place of all people in my run! I ran so hard I barfed in it. I also broke my board. Now I started going for my second degree black belt.
This week I have been learning about the metric system in measurement. Everything in the metric system is based on units of ten. I will let you see a chart at the end of the blog.
On Friday, we went to Flip Burger. I got a turtle milk shake. I also got a burger with bacon, cheese and ketchup. I went with Gramps and Grandma Susan. I loved it.
Today, I'm having a movie day. We're going to watch movies since it is raining and there's nothing else to do. I'm going to love it.
Here is the chart:
10 millimeters = 1 centimeter
10 centimeters = 1 decimeter
10 decimeters = 1 meter
1000 meters = 1 kilometer
What did you do that was fun today?
Max,
ReplyDeleteCongratulation on your "very, very, very dark belt"! I know a lot of hard work and dedication went into earning that belt.
What movies did you watch? Papa Ray and I have movie days fairly often - movies & popcorn what a fun afternoon!
It rained here all day so I've been listening to the Braves spring training baseball game and knitting a pair of socks for someones Christmas gift.
We will be arriving at Unicoi on Thursday of this week and can't wait to see you, Dad and Miss Cindy!
Love,
Nana (and Papa Ray)
Congratulations on your Black belt.
ReplyDeleteHopefully is is getting warm and staying warm in Atlanta. We had some sleet and snow in Pennsylvania today. Hopefully Spring comes and stays.
Uncle Brian
Nana,
ReplyDeleteWe watched a newer Wallace and Gromit episode called A Matter of Loaf and Death. It was very funny. We also watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
I can't wait to see you this week!
Love,
Max
Uncle Brian,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment. I'm glad that I got my black belt.
I hope that spring comes soon for you because yesterday it was 90 degrees here.
Love,
Max
