Hockey

Yesterday, I went to a hockey game. Miss Cindy gave Dad and me a boys night out for Christmas. We ate pizza at the stadium. Our team, the Gwinnett Gladiators won against the Chicago Express. It was a good game because Gwinnett won 3 to 1. They scored two points on power play where they had 5 men and the other team had 3 or 4. It was exciting because it all happened in the last 5 minutes of the game. I almost snapped my vocals cords from cheering and yelling but they are better today. I hope you had a great time this week. If you did something cool this week, comment to let me know about it!

  1. That was an awesome night and those seats were amazing! Maybe we'll get to go to another game before the season is over.

    Love,
    Dad

  2. Wow! Looks like you and Dad had a great time! You were at the last hockey game I went to, but you were just a real little boy then. We were at a Thrasher's game and you just loved it when the Thrashers scored because they have (had) a Thrasher that shot flames out of its beak!

Papa Ray and I have been planning our trip out west and to Alaska. We should be leaving Panama City the first of next week. It will be fun to be on the road again. We'll keep you updated with postcards and e-mails along the way.

Love to you all -- Nana (& Papa Ray)

  3. That's a really long trip! Florida to Alaska, I could never make it. That is the longest trip possible in the United States. I was wondering what do you do along the way? I'm enjoying my day off. How about you? Bye Nana, and don't get bored!

    Love,
    Max

  4. Hi Max! Papa Ray and I are in/near San Marcos, Tx which is between San Antonio and Austin. Yesterday we drove up to Austin for the day. We visited the Capitol building. Then drove around looking at the city, did some shopping and went out for dinner at Chili's.

We aren't going to drive to Alaska with our motor home. We are going to leave it in Seattle and take a cruise ship to Alaska and then borrow my brother John's motor home to travel around Alaska.

We go sight seeing along the way, ride our bikes, hike and just plain sit and do nothing some times. We watch a lot of movies in the evening, especially when we are where there's no TV reception. A fair amount of our time is spent figuring out where we want to go and what we want to see.

    Miss and love you!

    Nana
