The 73rd Blog

This week I went to the pool at the YMCA.  I rode the water slide there and dove on the diving board.  I went with Miss Cindy after Camp Invention. Camp Invention was fun too!  In one of the classes my team and I had to make a machine that would pop a water  balloon and we were successful!
This is a robot I made at Camp.

This is our Balloon Popper!

What did you do that was fun this week?

  1. Dear Max,

Camp Invention sounds like lots of fun! Is it a camp at the Y? Was your robot the balloon popper, or did the robot do something different?

Papa Ray and I are in Washington State out on the Olympic Peninsula this week. We are staying in a park right on the Strait of Jaun de Fuca. When the tide is out there are tide pools along the rocks. We saw lots of sea anemone, little crabs, a blood star fish and a lot of other things that I don't know what they were. That was lots of fun!

When are you, Miss Cindy and Dad leaving for vacation? While you are at Yellowstone, make a list of things you think Papa Ray and I should see when we are there in August.

Miss & love you very much!

    1. Hi Nana. I am glad that you are having fun time at Washington. I'm going to Hilton Head this week. Where are you going next?

  2. Hi Max,

Papa Ray and I are going to Alaska next. We leave on the 4th of July. Our transportation to Alaska will be on a cruise ship which will go though what is called the "inside passage" and on to Whittier, Alaska. We will be in Alaska for 3 weeks. I hope we get to see a moose and maybe even a grizzly bear (from a distance).

You are going to be a lot warmer in Hilton Head than we will be in Alaska or even here in Washington. Hope you have lots of fun at the beach!

    Love & miss you,

    Nana
