A Close Call...

These past seven days have been super-exciting and also very sad, starting with a dreadful Monday. It really is dreadful when you have to go back to school after 9 days of glory. It was like this for 4 more days until Nana came over for the weekend. That patched all the holes in my heart from the week!

Nana and I played a game of Scrabble that we never finished due to boredom. The next day, which was Saturday, we had a lot of stuff to do.

Dad and I did a Boy Scout service project. We spray painted the storm drains in our neighborhood. The stencil said "NO DUMPING - LEADS TO STREAM" with a picture of a fish between "DUMPING" and "LEADS".

Then Dad and I took down the Christmas trees and decorations from the attic. The boxes were REALLY heavy! We didn't put up the Christmas tree until Sunday though because Miss Cindy was sick.

Later that day was the SEC Championship. Alabama won, but it was a really close game with Georgia.

I had a fun week.

What did you do that was fun this week?

  1. Hi Max!

I'm happy that I was able to patch the holes in your heart - you did the same for me! I had so much fun spending the weekend with you, Daddy and Miss Cindy. My finger is still sore from when I tried to avoid catching the football. I've been working on my vocabulary so I can beat you next time we play scrabble and you owe me a work in Word with Friends.

That sure was a good football game wasn't it. I think a close game is more fun to watch than a onesided blow out.

I'm looking forward to you coming to visit us in our old new house.

My fun time this week was spending the weekend with you!

    Love,

    Nana

    1. I think it is fun to watch big blow out games. I really like it when it's in a championship game. How are you doing?

    2. I'm doing fine. How about you? I'm at Aunt Heidi's house until tomorrow morning and then I'm going to leave to go back to Florida. I want to let you know again how much I really enjoyed staying with you. I hope you have a great Christmas. If you think of something you might want for Christmas that isn't on you list, let me know.

      Love you!

      Nana
